This short video shows my full illustration process for a custom poster for The Haunted House (1929).
I start with a rough pencil sketch, then move into inking, and finally full color. The sketching and inking were done on my iPad Pro using Procreate and the Apple Pencil. Once the line art was finished, I brought the artwork into Photoshop for coloring and texture work, and then into Illustrator to design and finalize the poster layout.
This piece is a tribute to the classic 1929 cartoon and the early era of animation, recreated through a modern digital workflow while staying true to the vintage aesthetic.
